Wago PFC200 PLC now ATEX certified

Oct. 13, 2015 – Wago says its PFC200 series of PLCs is now ATEX certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The PFC200 boasts advanced compact, computing power in an easy to use environment for PLC programming and process visualization. It features a 600 MHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, multiple fieldbus ports and 256 MB on-board (32 GB removable) memory. Acting as a fieldbus gateway, the PFC200 communicates between Modbus TCP/UD/RTU, CAN, Profibus, Smart Grid and RS-232/RS-485, eliminating the need for third-party converters, says Wago.
